A. Isn't it Thursday?
B. Yes.
A. Yes, it's Thursday, or no, it's not Thursday.
B. Yes. It is not Thursday.
A. So confusing.
*Even though the conversation may be accurate, for many native English speakers, B's answer may need to be clarified.
Instead, try this answer!
Clear American English:
A. Isn't it Thursday?
B. No. It's Friday.
A. Okay, thanks.
