How to pronounce the B sound.

Place your top and bottom lips together. Build up some pressure in your mouth, then release it, followed by a short puff of air.

'B' is a voiced sound. That means the vocal cords vibrate when you say the letter.

'B' is also a stop sound. That means the sound is short and should not be extended.

Place your top teeth on your bottom lip. Your top teeth should be showing. The air is pushed out of your mouth between the top teeth and your bottom lip.

'V' is a voiced sound. That means the vocal cords vibrate when you say the letter.

'V' is also a continuous sound. That means you can continue the 'V' sound (flow of air) without changing the sound.
